Not quite as neat and orderly as 'The Roadside', but supposed to be somewhat the same idea. This was a quicker drawing done over a few hours in Photoshop. Anatomical errors whoopie. It's occured to me that I've been drawing Winterwing/Wildwing's beaks far, far too short. Blah. I realize that without context, this image becomes somewhat suggestive, and you'll just have to deal with it. It comes from the same storyline as the Roadside peice, except a little over a year down the road (it occurs to me that their hair grows really, really fast. teheoops). Characters and artwork belong to me.

When I'm coloring is when I often think of the witty phrase to put here. Tonight all I could think of was "YOU WON'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M MILDLY IRRITATED." Which still amuses me, but whatever. Winterwing is © me so long as they can keep claiming Jadestar is fresh intellectual property.

The similarities between Emily and Starbuck kind of worry me. Both are snarky little blond girls, with a fracked up right knee, and pilots. The only thing for it was a flightsuit based off that horrid brown/blue color scheme. Whoever designed those boots needs a good whack with a champagne bottle filled with acid. Emily belongs to me, as does the art.

A late b-day pic for Calista of her duck character. One horrid challange of drawing Calista is trying to come up with an image that doesn't look like the other 1,000 that exist of her. .... yeah.... definatly had to use a ref on that pose.
